Grant Awarded!

Serving on the Streets (S.O.S.) was recently awarded the OCRA Community Focus Fund grant in order to turn a local building into a community center. On hand for the award ceremony were (from left) State Representative Jim Baird, Brazil City employee Vallie Staley, Brazil Planning and Zoning Administrator Stacey Gibbons, Lt. Governor Becky Skillman, S.O.S. Executive Director Jenni Chamberlain, Brenner Design representative Diana Brenner, S.O.S. Assistant Director Heather Hopkins, S.O.S. Fundraising and Volunteer Coordinator Shannon Clark and Kenna Consulting representative Donna Anderson.

Congrats!! Such a great crowd to be representing Brazil! I am anxious to see this project complete! So much history in that building!
