Friday, October 5, 2012

For two weeks, online readers have been able to participate in a non-scientific straw poll at www.thebraziltimes.com.

The poll was officially closed at 1:15 p.m., Friday, Oct. 5.

Straw polls provide important interactive dialogue among movements within large groups, reflecting trends like organization and motivation.

Voting eligibility in specific districts did not restrict voters. Results are provided as entertainment -- and as an indication of voter opinion of those using The Brazil Times' website.

In the poll, respondents were asked to give their opinion on the upcoming November election in regard to state offices.

A total of 223 responses were collected from the poll. Not all responders answered every question within the poll.
