Lona Jeanne Langley, 69, Brazil, passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family Oct. 7, 2012.

She was born in Millanocket, Maine, the daughter of Richard Lafayette Burke and Marguerite Irene Burke.

She met the love of her live as a young girl.

Jeanne and Richard Langley were united in marriage May 26, 1961, and they celebrated 51 years of marriage this past May.

She has been a devoted wife, mom and grandma.

Jeanne enjoyed her flowers and crocheting.

She was well known for her kindness and loving spirit.

Jeanne was a woman strong in her faith and was a member of the General Assembly and Church of the First Born.

She was preceded in death by her father and her son David Ray Langley.

Survivors include her loving husband Richard Langley, Brazil, daughter Rainna Langley, sons Richard "Rusty" Langley Jr., Joshua Duane Langley (Brandy), and Harold Harding Langley (Jennifer), grandchildren Nathan Langley, Joey Langley, Abriel Keltz, Lillian, Wesley, Jonathan and David Ray Langley, great-grandson Lee, her mother Marguerite Banyai, Cherry Hill, N.J., brothers James Edward Burk (Vickie), Morgantown, Ind., and Kenneth Burke (Bert), Rhode Island, sister Sue Burke, several nieces and nephews and extended family.

Services will take place Thursday at 1 p.m., at French Funeral Home, with Brother Tom Nation officiating.

Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
