Washington Township Circle Club
The Washington Township Circle Club met June 14. We went to Chambers Restaurant in Spencer for our meeting and had a delicious lunch at 11:30 a.m.
At 1 p.m., Judy opened the meeting.
The flag salute and homemakers creed were repeated in unison.
Doris Romas had devotions read by Linda Schiele, "Letter to an old friend," and prayer.
Roll call was answered by five members.
Brenda led us in singing, "The more we get together."
The secretary report by Rosalind and treasurer report by Doris were read and approved.
Judy gave the health and safety lesson, "Key to remove mold."
Linda gave the report about office duties of the president, vice president senators and the duties of voters.
Judy reminded the group about future meetings and lessons. Achievement Night at the fairgrounds was discussed.
Linda gave the lesson "Mold inside the home," with black mold being the most dangerous.
The fall district meeting was Aug. 24.
We sang the homemakers prayer in closing.
The next meeting was at the home of Rosalind Schopmeyer, July 12.
Doris will have a lesson on charitable donations.
