Alberta 'Rosemary' Shepard

Alberta "Rosemary"' Shepard, 78, Spencer, passed away Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at Owen Valley Health Campus. She was born November 23, 1933, in Brazil, Ind., to Hulet and Helen (Stoops) Mishler. She was a 1951 graduate of Brazil High School. She worked at Cook Urological in Spencer as a packager until her retirement in 1998. Rosemary was a life member of the Spencer VFW Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the American Legion Ladies' Auxiliary.

Mrs. Shepard is survived by two sons Max Shepard (Ella Mae) and Robert Shepard Jr. (Donna), both of Spencer, a daughter Sally Garrett, Ellettsville, a brother Jack Mishler (Bonnie), Terre Haute, a brother-in-law James Shepard (Cherry), Brazil, 19 grandchildren Robert E. Shepard III, Storme Taylor (Jason), James Shepard, Dustin Shepard (Lisa), Andrea Shepard, Danielle Watson (Andy), Laura Shepard, Velvet Shepard, John T. Shepard, Charie Joe Shepard, David Morgan, Jessica Morgan, Jennifer Morgan, John Morgan, Philip Dennison II, Helen Dennison, Brandon Payton, Benjamin Payton and Allan Dwiggins, 19 great- grandchildren, one great great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Shepard Sr., two sons James and Charlie Shepard, two brothers James Shepard and David Lee Wiley and a grandson Michael Asbury II.

Visitation will take place from 5-7 p.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
