Chamber to host school board candidate forum

The Clay County Chamber of Commerce will host a Clay Community Schools Board of Trustees candidate forum on Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 6:30 p.m., at the Brazil YMCA, located at 225 E. Kruzan Street.

Justin Campbell, Chamber president, will moderate the forum and take statements from every candidate present.

According to Molly Tipton at the Chamber of Commerce, every candidate from districts 1-4 plans to attend the forum, including Tina Heffner, Kevin Kumpf and Ted Paris (District 1), Jennifer Kaelber and Gary Rickert (District 2), Tammy Beasley and Tom Reberger (District 3) and Forrest Buell, Fred Froderman and Jason Moon (District 4).

The general public is encouraged to attend.

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 6.
