Resident becomes licensed director

Tuesday, October 23, 2012

Joshua David Lee has been employed as an intern with French Funeral Home, Lawson-Miller Chapel and Schoppenhorst Funeral Home since November 2010.

On Sept. 27, 2012, he passed the State Board Exam to become a Licensed Funeral Director.

Prior to moving to Brazil, Lee graduated from Frankfort High School in Frankfort, Ind.

He received his Mortuary of Science Associates Degree at Vincennes University in 2011.

On July 21, 2012, he married his high school sweetheart, Matteson Paige (Mattie).

According to French Funeral Home representative Susie French, Lee has been a "valuable asset to the French Family and we welcome Josh to our team as a Licensed Funeral Director and a continued part of our community."

Congratulations Josh, I will always remember your kindness when I experienced the death of my mother. You are truly an asset to the community.
