CCS employee runs for school board

Tuesday, October 23, 2012

Thomas Reberger is running for District 4 representative of the Clay Community Schools Board of Trustees.

Reberger will retire from Clay Community Schools at the end of this calendar year. For the past 43 years, he worked for CCS both as a teacher and, most recently, as the director of Buildings and Grounds.

Reberger has lived in the community his entire life, and said his expertise in working with CCS qualifies him to be a member of the school board.

Reberger said, if he were elected to the school board, he'd like to see technology in the schools improve and continue to grow. Reberger said he'd also like to see general improvements for both teachers and students.

Reberger has been married for 43 years. He has two children and three grandchildren. His three grandchildren are all currently enrolled in CCS.

Election day is Tuesday, Nov. 6.
