Trunk or Treat set

Thursday, October 25, 2012

S.T.R.E.T.C.H. (Sharing The Real Effect That Christ Has) will present the annual Halloween alternative Tuesday, Oct. 30, from 6-8 p.m., at the Forest Park Pavilion.

The event is free for all families.

There will be decorated vehicles to visit, where stories from the Bible will be read and children may receive treats.

Elementary school children will also have the opportunity to register for many door prizes.

S.T.R.E.T.C.H. is a group of area churches, which desire to provide safe, fun events for children in the community.

For further information, call 446-2214 Ext. 16.

Note: The nature of the Internet makes it impractical for our staff to review every comment. If you feel that a comment is offensive, please Login or Create an account first, and then you will be able to flag a comment as objectionable. Please also note that those who post comments on thebraziltimes.com may do so using a screen name, which may or may not reflect a website user's actual name. Readers should be careful not to assign comments to real people who may have names similar to screen names. Refrain from obscenity in your comments, and to keep discussions civil, don't say anything in a way your grandmother would be ashamed to read.

This is the safest way to take children trick or treating. Aside from receiving lots of treats, they learn about Jesus and Biblical stories along the way.
