The Lady Volunteers of Staunton will host a Craft Fair Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Staunton Community Center.

Cost to set up is $15 if you use one of the center's tables, or $10 if you provide your own table.

To reserve a spot, or get more information, call Anita Ave at 448-3023.

The yearly reunion of the George and Mae Ripple family took place Oct. 27, at the Staunton Community Center.

A total of 29 descendants and two guests were present. They included Maryon Ripple Tilley from Nevada, Bea and Larry Anderson from Kentucky, Wanda Ripple Hamm from California, Larry Lawson from Florida, Mark and Meg Ripple from Michigan, Linda Ripple Jackson, Mrs. Sam Ripple and Phillip Ripple (the oldest present) -- from Illinois, and from Indiana, David, Sheri and Chris Ripple, Cathy and Duane Butt and their granddaughter Emerson, Anita and Bill Hightshoe, Kenny, Jennifer and Lleyton Ripple, Max, Karen and Brian Ripple, Terre and Adam Baughman, Merle and Bea Rice, and Louis Lawson Kroesen.

Staunton First Christian Church News

Sunday school begins at 9:30 a.m., with worship service following at 10:30 a.m.

Doug Parkey is the minister.

Children's Church and Wee Worship meet at 10:30 a.m., in the Educational Building.

If you need transportation to morning worship service, please phone the church office at 446-3211.

Sunday evening service begins at 6 p.m.

Wednesday evening Bible Study and Prayer Group meet at 7 p.m.

Youth "Groupz" will have its first meeting this Sunday. The groups are open to all young people from sixth-grade through grade 12. They plan to meet each Sunday evening from 5:30-7.

Staunton United Methodist Church News

Sunday worship service begins at approximately 10:45.

Our pastor is Scott Aselage.

Remember the community food pantry is open in the church basement from 3-5 p.m., on the last Wednesday afternoon of each month.

The next food pantry day will be Wednesday, Nov. 28.

Anyone in the Staunton area in need of help is welcome.

We appreciate the support of our friends at Staunton Christian Church, as well as all the churches, schools, civic organizations and individuals who help make this needed outreach a success.

Please keep praying for everyone who is battling illness, as well as all the brave men and women of our military and their families.

Also remember in prayer all the folks in nursing homes and hospitals, and those who have lost loved ones.

Go out of your way to be kind to someone and pray for everyone.
