The auction had many items such as handmade ink pens, gift certificates, jewelry, memberships and more.
An estimated 30 people came to the event.
"It went very well," Tim Conner, one of the event coordinators, said. "I was surprised at the turn out, of how many people came and the kind of money they were willing to spend to help kids out."
With the auction and raffle, a total of $1,089 was raised for Clay County Toys for Tots.
Conner said he wanted to help with the auction because of the Marines and to help Clay County's children have the kind of Christmas they deserve.
"Several people put it together," Conner said. "It was a group effort."
He said their goal is to raise $2,500 this year for Toys for Tots. So far, they have around $2,000.
Next month, the group will be having a spaghetti dinner at the Moose Lodge. The dinner will be Friday, Dec. 7, from 5-7 p.m., for a cost of $6. All the proceeds will go to Clay County Toys for Tots.
"Hopefully that will get us to our goal for the year," Conner said.
