Mia Isabella Featherling, born into this world July 6, 2012, entered eternal life Nov. 8, 2012.

Mia passed away from complications of metabolic disease syndrome and had been treated at Riley Hospital in Indianapolis many times since birth.

Mia leaves behind her loving family, mom and dad Michael and Lindsay Buerster Featherling, Brazil, formerly of Charleston, Ill., big sister Mary-Claire Featherling, grandparents Paul and Michele Buerster, Charleston, Ill., Thomas Featherling and wife Linda, Sullivan, Ill., and Ellen Woolum and husband Robert, Chrisman, Ill., great-grandmothers Doris Featherling, Georgia Redford and Betty Allen, Sullivan, Ill., aunts and uncles Vicki and Don Phillips, Paula and Eric Johnson, all of Charleston, Ill., Branden Featherling, Nina Sides, both of Sullivan, Ill., Jason Swango, Windsor, Ill., Matt Swango, St. Louis, Gaylon Swango, Charleston, Ill., Natasha and Hywel Foley, South Caroline, and Kaitlyn Young, Charleston, Ill., many cousins and special friends of the family Justin and Ashlee Florey, many other friends and extended family.

Mass of Christian Burial took place Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at noon, at Annunciation Church, 415 E. Church St., Brazil, with Father John Hollowell officiating.

Burial followed at Summit Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation was one hour prior to mass at the church.
