CENTER POINT -- A Center Point man was transported to Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, via LifeLine following a two-vehicle accident Tuesday evening.
At approximately 5:22 p.m., emergency officials were dispatched to the accident south of Center Point at the intersection of County Road 200 East and County Road 100 South.
According to information provided by the Clay County Sheriff's Department, Christopher A. Golden, 19, Center Point, had been traveling west on CR 100 S in a red 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier, when he allegedly failed to yield the right-of-way to a northbound vehicle on CR 200 E, driven by Jeremy J. Elliott, 21, Linton.
A passenger in Golden's vehicle, Michael L. Fry, 40, also of Center Point, was transported to St. Vincent Clay Hospital via TransCare with unknown injuries.
According to officials, Elliot was treated and released at the scene.
Golden's injuries were unknown at press time.
