The Lady Volunteers of the Staunton Community Center are hosting a craft fair this Saturday (Nov. 17), from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Everyone is invited to stop by and join in the fun.

Staunton First Christian Church News

Sunday school begins at 9:30 a.m., with worship service following at 10:30.

Doug Parkey is the minister.

Children's Church and Wee Worship meet at 10:30 a.m., in the Educational Building.

If you need transportation to morning worship service, please phone the church office at 446-3211.

Youth Groupz will meet from 5:45-7 p.m., this week.

This Sunday evening, we will host the annual Community Thanksgiving Service with Staunton United Methodist Church.

The Angela Lilly Trio, a Southern Gospel group, will be our special guest.

The service will begin at 6 p.m., and will be followed by a time of fellowship and refreshments.

Everyone is asked to bring finger foods or desserts.

The "Hanging of the Greens" will take place Nov. 26, at 5:30 p.m.

Any and all help is appreciated.

Staunton United Methodist Church News

Sunday worship service begins at approximately 10:45 a.m.

Our pastor is Scott Aselage.

We are looking forward to attending the annual combined Community Thanksgiving service at Staunton Christian Church this Sunday at 6 p.m.

Remember the Community Food Pantry is open in the church basement from 3-5 p.m., on the last Wednesday afternoon of each month.

The next food pantry day will be Wednesday, Nov. 28.

Anyone in the Staunton area in need of help is welcome.

We appreciate the support of our friends at Staunton Christian Church, as well as all the churches, schools, civic organizations and individuals who help make this needed outreach a success.

Please keep praying for everyone who is battling illness, as well as all the brave men and women of our military and their families.

Also remember in prayer all the folks in nursing homes and hospitals, and those who have lost loved ones.

Go out of your way to be kind to someone and pray for everyone.
