Thomas V. Rollo, 66, Terre Haute, currently living at the Veterans Nursing Home in West Lafayette, Ind., passed away Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, following a lengthy battle with Parkinson's Disease.
He was born Jan. 7, 1946, in Terre Haute, the son of Myron and Gladys (Taylor) Linnabary.
He graduated from Gerstmeyer Technical High School.
He was drafted into the United States Army and received a medical discharge following an accident during basic training.
He owned and operated Professional Bowling and Trophy in 12 Points during the late 70s and early 80s.
Tom had also worked in sales with several different companies.
Tom was an avid bowler and bowling instructor.
He had received multiple awards and earned several 300 and 700 series patches.
Tom enjoyed watching sports, especially the Bears, Cubs and Pacers.
He was a member of the Am Vets, Disabled American Veterans and the American Legion Post 346 in Terre Haute.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Carole Ann Bridgewater.
He is survived by his wife G. Joyce Rollo, sons Thomas B. Rollo (Tammy), Terre Haute, Steven Rollo (Liz), Florida, and Anthony Rollo (Kiley), step-daughter Andrea Colclasure, grandchildren Conner Rollo, Ashton Rollo, Isaac Rollo and Keaton Rollo, step-grandchildren Jason Colclasure (Kelly), Ryan Colclasure (Stephanie) and Leah Martin (Michael) as well as four step-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at French Funeral Home Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at 1 p.m., with Pastor Jeff Bridgewater officiating.
Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday, from 11 a.m., until time of services.
