Robert "Bob" Drew Ooley, 72, passed away Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, with his family by his side. He was born on May 22, 1940, in Springfield, Ill., to Ross B. Ooley and Lorain Ward Dewey Ooley. He graduated from Brazil High School in 1958, and married Alta Hibbs in 1959, before serving his country in the Untied States Air Force. Bob retired from Allison Transmission after 28 years. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, fishing, playing pool and watching NASCAR.
Survivors include son Scott (Stacie) Ooley, daughter Diann Ooley, brother Norman (Carolyn) Ooley sister Lorain Almasi, grandchildren Roxie Tetidrick, Rachel (Mike) Modglin, Rissa (Jeff) Kennedy, Jacob (Shaylynn) Ooley, Austin Ooley, great-grandchildren Braelyn Tetidrick, Hayven Tetidrick, Lillyn Tetidrick, Addison Modglin, Brooklyn Modglin, Hannah Modglin Izzabella Kennedy, Macy Ooley and soon to be his first great grandson Brentlee Robert Phillip Kennedy, nieces and nephews Kristine Ooley (Travis) Coulson, Keith Ooley, Ray Earley, Lora Meisner, Amy Ooley and Patrick Bergin, several great nieces and nephews.
