The troupe wants to convey the lighter side of the holiday with a new Celtic-styled cantata. Each performance will include a medley of songs, narrations and skits.
"The theme of the skit is a grandmother and grandfather reminiscing about Christmas' past," Lee Reberger said, a member of Clay County Theatre. "(In the other skit) a photographer is sent to the North Pole to take a family picture."
Several members of the community are helping to produce this year's performance.
"There are about 22 people involved in this program; it's a nice cross selection of people both young and old," Reberger said.
Each performance is preceded by a dinner buffet served at 6:30 p.m., with the show starting at 7:15.
Tickets are $25 and must be purchased in advance. For reservations or additional information, call 442-6909.
