The Staunton Community Center will welcome a very special guest, as Santa Claus will arrive to visit between the hours of 2-4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 9.
He will be passing out free treats for children and free cookies, hot chocolate and coffee will be available for everyone.
Bring your youngsters and your camera and join in the fun!

Sunday school begins at 9:30 a.m., with worship service following at 10:30.
Doug Parkey is the minister.
Children's Church and Wee Worship meet at 10:30 a.m., in the Educational Building.
If you need transportation to morning worship service, please phone the church office at 446-3211.
Youth groups meet at 5:45 p.m., and Sunday evening service begins at 6.
Wednesday evening Bible Study and Prayer Group meet at 7.
There are several special events coming up during December, including:
* Dec. 14-15 -- We will be holding 24 hours of prayer, starting at 6 p.m., Dec. 14, and continuing to 6 p.m., Dec. 15. Please sign up for a prayer time on the bulletin board in the foyer,
* Dec. 16 -- The Children's Christmas program will be presented during our morning worship time, and we will go Christmas caroling immediately following morning services. Finger foods will be served before departing,
* Dec. 23 -- The adult mini-Christmas Cantata will be presented during morning worship time, and
* Dec. 24 -- Christmas Eve service at 8 p.m.

Sunday worship service begins at approximately 10:45 a.m.
Our pastor is Scott Aselage.
Our annual Christmas party will be Sunday, Dec. 16, at 6:30 p.m.
Remember the Community Food Pantry is open in the church basement from 3-5 p.m., on the last Wednesday of each month.
This month's food pantry day will be Wednesday, Dec. 19, rather than the day after Christmas.
Anyone in the Staunton area in need of help is welcome.
We appreciate the support of our friends at Staunton Christian Church, as well as all the churches, schools, civic organizations and individuals who help make this needed outreach a success.
Please keep praying for everyone who is battling illness, as well as all the brave men and women of our military and their families.
Also remember in prayer all the folks in nursing homes and hospitals, and those who have lost loved ones.
