Mr. and Mrs. Harold Plunkett, Brazil, will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 9, at the home of their daughter, Debbie Brown, 496 W. CR 700 N., Brazil.

Friends and relatives are invited. It is requested that gifts be omitted, but cards are welcome, and may be mailed to 104 Charles B. Hall St., Brazil, Ind., 47834.

The Plunketts were married Dec. 8, 1942, in Lewistown, Mont.

Mrs. Plunkett, the former Betty Snyder, is a homemaker.

Mr. Plunkett served in World War II as a radio operator and ball turret gunner on the B-17.

He retired in 1982 from the FAA Flight Service Department at Hulman Field.

The couple also farmed and owned the Center Point Feed Mill for many years.

Hosts will be the couple's three daughters Sharon Mishler, Debbie Brown and Peggy Gill.

They also have eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
