Droste led a demonstration on how to frost cookies and decorate Christmas ornaments.
This is the third year Droste has visited with students in Grey's classroom.
"This has been a nice collaboration of working together," Grey told The Brazil Times.
In addition to the demonstration, Droste also discussed the importance of responsibility with the students.
"We stress attendance in our classes," Grey added. "I always tell (the students), 'your attendance record in high school is an indicator (for your future).'
"All those things ... promptness and showing up on time ... are things we stress."
During the demonstration, Droste gave each student two sugar cookies. At each table was a tub of butter cream icing as well as different colored frostings. In addition, several different types of sprinkles were at each station.
Droste also baked a string of red liquorice into each cookie.
She explained how the butter cream icing was to be used as the foundation and from there, the students had the chance to be creative with the colored icings.
"They've (the students) have been looking forward to this," Grey said. "They're very creative."
Grey said three of her classes -- approximately 80 students -- would go to through the demonstration Wednesday.
