The Harmony Town Council had its monthly meeting on Thursday, Dec. 4.
Before approving the minutes, local residents David and Judy Green gave an update on the property they purchased on Liberty Street. Two buildings have been demolished and the Green's said they plan to remove more at a later date.
In other business, the council discussed what to do about an overpopulation of cats on the south end. They also talked about trying to get speed signs posted on Harmony Road. The council said the speeding that happens there is a hazard for residents.
The council also finalized plans for their last meeting of the year.
The meeting will take place on Friday, Dec. 28, after the conclusion of the annual Christmas dinner for council and board members.
The next regularly scheduled meeting is Tuesday, Feb. 5, in the Harmony Town Center at 7 p.m.
