Clabber Girl has decked their halls with a winter wonderland of trees to prepare for the annual Country Christmas on Saturday, Dec. 15, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
At 10 a.m., Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive in a horse drawn carriage in front of the Bake Shop to greet children. Mics Pics will be taking pictures of children with Santa in his sleigh, while Mrs. Claus will be sharing her favorite Christmas stories in the Victorian Parlor.
Santa's helpers will be helping children craft their own ornaments and holiday treats. Strolling carolers will be wandering the halls to spread the holiday cheer. Visitors can also explore downtown Terre Haute on a horse drawn carriage ride.
Visitors may have breakfast or lunch in the Clabber Girl Bake Shop, as well as have a cup of locally roasted Rex Coffee between the hours of 8 a.m.-4 p.m. New gift sets will be available from two Terre Haute companies including Clabber Girl and Columbian Home Products.
Artist Julia London-Meddles will paint on-site as she features her Christmas card series in the Clabber Girl Gallery. Christmas cards and prints will be available for purchase. Also, Deer Ridge Woodcraft and Bob Follett will be present with a variety of gift items.
Admission to Country Christmas is free of charge. Tickets can be purchased at the door for various activities.
