Five Brazil residents were arrested early Wednesday morning on several charges.

According to officials with the Brazil Police Department, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, investigators served a search warrant at 1002 N. McGuire St., for the suspected manufacturing of methamphetamine.

All five were preliminarily charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine (a class A felony), Possession of Methamphetamine (a class C felony), Possession of Precursors (a class D felony) and Maintaining a Common Nuisance (a class D felony).

"We received a complaint of the possibility of that (home) being a (methamphetamine) lab," Brazil Police Chief Clint McQueen said. "We followed up the complaint and were able to obtain a search warrant."

If you're ever considering lowering yourself enough to use methamphetamine, look at pictures like the ones in this article. These are the kind of mental midgets that mixed the chemicals that you are about to put into your body.

I know both Shawna and Patrick Junior, and met their parents on numerous occasions. Those poor kids never had a chance with parents like these two. They consistently chose their bad habits over the well-being of the children. I don't know the circumstances of the prosecutor turning Shawna against her parents, but she is probably better off. I agree that there should have been some investigation into her having a child with someone much older, but I imagine she was happy to take the first opportunity to get out of her home situation.I only wish this arrest had taken place years ago so the children could have had an opportunity to enjoy a childhood without having to wonder where their next meal would come from.

First of all, bert, I am sorry for your loss.

Secondly, why blame Lee Reberger, our prosecutor? Did he force these scumbags to manufacture methamphetamines? I highly doubt. We are all responsible for our own actions.

unclegrabby, you do need help. Find it before you find yourself in a situation like Newtown, CT or Webster, NY.

You cant blame children for the actions of adults. And I agree, "unclegrabby" sounds like a perverted person.

I also have known Shawma & Patrick Jr. for number of years. They never had a good life as a child. They never knew where they would lay thier heads at night or get thier next meal from. So I think thier parents are where they need to be at.

If the prosecutor does their job they won't have to worry about meals and a bed for a long while

-- Posted by bert on Fri, Dec 28, 2012, at 11:42 AM

Im not talking about The ones in jail; Im talking about The children involved. Well they arent children now.

Sorry, I hope their kids don't follow their parents footsteps. Couldn't do worse I guess. Kids if you read this please understand what your parents did causes addiction then kills people and devastates families. I know and so does our daddy-less grandson
