Cheerleaders grateful for dream come true

To the Editor:

Nov. 29-Dec.2, Kara Clodfelter and I spent our days in Florida at Walt Disney World.

On Friday, Dec. 30, we had the great opportunity to perform in the Disney Christmas parade, thanks to everyone who helped us raise the money.

Over the summer, our school went to a National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) camp and we both made the All-American team.

Being put on that team gave us the chance to be in the Christmas Extravaganza at Walt Disney World.

All summer long to the end of November, we did everything we could to try and raise enough money for this trip.

Although we couldn't raise every penny we needed for the trip, there was still enough to help us get there.

We wouldn't of been able to do it without all of you.

The trip was an unforgettable experience, but being in the parade was the absolute best part.

Everyone who attended the event did an amazing job, and we hope everyone watches the parade on Christmas morning on ABC, at 10 a.m.

Again, we would like to thank everyone who helped make our dreams come true: Reconstruction Company, Helen Skelton, Sarah Roe, Terri Gaines, Janey Ehrlich, Webb the bus driver, Lori Brown, Paulette Gaskill, Larry, Becky and Brody Shaw, June Jones, Mary Jane Smithhart, Cathy Shaw, Kroger, Pat Hardman, Duane and Jessica Hardman, Barb and Art Evangelista, Walmart, Pages, The Brazil Times and many more.
