The Northview High School Color Guard Dance Clinic, clinic and performance will take place Saturday, Jan. 12.
The clinic is for students in grades kindergarten through eighth-grade.
The event will take place at Northview High School.
Check-in is at 11:30 a.m., with classes beginning at noon. A show routine for parents will take place at 2:45 p.m.
Registration will take place in the high school cafeteria.
In addition, those taking part in the clinic will be asked to come back to the school auditorium at 7 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 12, for a community performance, which will take place during halftime of the Northview boys' varsity basketball game.
Admission to the game is free for the performers.
Cost to attend the clinic is $24, which includes a performance T-shirt.
Those attending are asked to wear shorts or sweat pants, a T-shirt and tennis shoes.
For the performance later in the evening, those attending the clinic are asked to wear black shorts, white socks, tennis shoes and the provided T-shirt.
Organizers specified dance or gymnastic experience is not necessary to attend the clinic.
According to those putting on the clinic, each grade level will be featured with a dance that is appropriate to their age group and all ages are encouraged to attend.
