No more prisons needed

Monday, January 21, 2013

To the Editor:

I recently received a survey through the mail in regard to Indiana prisons.

I was raised in Putnam County. Year's back, we had a tanning factory out there. We had a stone quarry. We raised all the cattle; the meat was served in the institutions in Indianapolis.

Let's put these men to work who are in the institutions and let them have their television during their lunch hour and on the weekends.

We don't need to build more prisons.

We need to get those inmates working.

That's my opinion. Get them out there working.
