He was born Aug. 10, 1938, in Brazil, to Lawrence and Jean McGranahan.
Don graduated from Brazil High School in 1958, before serving his country in the United States Army.
He was a lifelong truck driver, and retired from Texaco, a 50-year mason and a founding member of the Dick Johnson Township Fire Department.
Don enjoyed bowling and was proud to be the winner of the truck Roadeo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, twin brother James Roy McGranahan and sister Mary K. Vanatti.
Survivors include his wife Mary Lou McGranahan, Brazil, son Scott McGranahan, Brazil, daughters Karen (Mark) Vitz, Center Point, Kristi (Steven) Summers, Staunton, and Susan (Marcus) Maurer, Brazil, sister Shirley Witt, Brazil, and grandchildren Raimey, Rylie and Hallie Vitz, and Maison and Cassidy Summers.
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m., Thursday, at Moore Funeral Home, Brazil, with burial to follow at Summit Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
