WEST TERRE HAUTE -- It's not too late to sign up for the Fiber Frolic at White Violet Center for Eco-Justice at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods this weekend.

The event will begin at 6:30 p.m., Friday, and will run through 11 a.m., Sunday.

Fiber Frolic offers hands-on beginning level instruction in three areas of concentration: Spinning, weaving and felting.

Spinning instruction will be led by Robin Edmunson, weaving by John Salamone and felting by Sister Maureen Freeman.

No prior experience is needed and participants will leave with a finished project.

Cost for the weekend event is $250, which includes meals plus $25 for materials. Housing at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods is available.

Saint Mary-of-the-Woods is located just 10 minutes from downtown Terre Haute.

White Violet Center for Eco-Justice is a ministry of the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.
