The Lady Volunteers of the Staunton Community Center will host a "Make a Valentine Card," craft activity Saturday, Feb. 9, at 10 a.m.

Cost is $2 per person, which includes all the materials you need to make the card.

All you need to bring are some creative ideas.

This promises to be a fun activity for everyone.

Staunton First Christian Church News

Sunday school begins at 9:30 a.m., with worship service following at 10:30.

Doug Parkey is the minister.

Children's Church and Wee Worship meet at 10:30 a.m., in the Educational Building.

If you need transportation to morning worship, please phone the church office at 446-3211.

Youth Groups meet at 5:45 p.m., and Sunday evening service begins at 6.

Wednesday evening Bible Study and Prayer Group meet at 7 p.m.

Staunton United Methodist Church News

Sunday worship service begins at approximately 10:45 a.m. Our pastor is Scott Aselage.

Happy birthday to Mark Ave Feb. 2.

Remember the Community Food Pantry is open in the church basement from 3-5 p.m., on the last Wednesday afternoon of each month.

The next food pantry day will be next Wednesday, Jan. 30.

Anyone in the Staunton area in need of help is welcome.

We truly appreciate the continued support of our friends at Staunton Christian Church, as well as the churches, schools, civic organizations and individuals who help make this needed outreach a success.

Please keep praying for everyone who is battling illness, as well as all the brave men and women of our military and their families.

Also remember in prayer all the folks in nursing homes and hospitals, and those who have lost loved ones.

Go out of your way to be kind to someone and pray for everyone.
