He was born June 14, 1928, in Danville, Ill., to Amos and Edna Goodhart.
Bob served his country in the United States Marine Corp., and worked as an Air Traffic Controller at Hulman Field in Terre Haute.
After retirement, he enjoyed attending auctions and sales, and founded Reliable Drill Grinding.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother John Goodhart.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years Edith Goodhart, sons Robert Daniel (Pat) Goodhart Jr., Ron Goodhart, Richard Goodhart, and Russ (Julia) Goodhart, daughters Mary Elizabeth Stanley, Barbara (Jeff) Bennett, Connie (Jim) Yarber, Paula (Dennis) Sutton, Laura (Gary) Tilson, and Donna (Tim) Miller, sister Martha Lou (Donald) Bosma, and grandchildren Kevin and Brian Stanley, Dan Goodhart, Aura Lee Goodhart, Amanda, Nick and Becca Sutton, Andrew and Rachel Tilson, James and Jake Goodhart, Hannah, Bailee and Noah Miller, and Justin, Quinten, Kai, Liam and Mattias Goodhart.
A funeral mass will take place at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Annunciation Catholic Church, Brazil, with burial to follow at Restlawn Cemetery.
Visitation will take place from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, at Moore Funeral Home, Brazil.
