NHS percussion places second

SPENCER -- On Saturday, the Northview High School Indoor Percussion Unit took part in the Owen Valley Invitational, placing second overall in the PSA Division.

Avon won the event with a score of 83.20. Northview was second with an 81.65.

Coming in third was Danville with a 78.98, followed by Terre Haute South (77.45), Martinsville (75.90), Tri-West (74.30), Perry Meridian (72.90) and South Central (69.80).

The Knights will compete in the Vincennes Lincoln Invitational March 9.

The invitational is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m., although times for performances were not known at press time.

Northview will take part in the PSA Division.

Other schools competing in PSA include Avon, Danville, Franklin Community, North Harrison, Northeast Dubois, South Central, Terre Haute North, Terre Haute South and Vincennes Lincoln.
