Letter to the Editor

It all begins with the boy

To the Editor:

We are still collecting pop cans and tabs for both the "Rice for Haiti" children and for the Ronald McDonald House in Indianapolis.

I was asked at Pizza Hut if we still collected: Yes, yes. It's an ongoing project that has no end.

Our church asks for any pop cans and don't ask for monies for any part of the expense of stacking or shipping as our church absorbs the costs and feel we are in some way helping those children by feeding the food they are used to.

They love their rice and mix many times with beans. These are the staple foods in Haiti.

If you care to help us, please drop off your pop cans and tabs at our church, located at 21 W. Pinckley St., Brazil, in front of the church door or at the drop down door of the garage in the alley.

If you cannot bring them, drop them off at Bedwell Tire on East National Avenue, or call 446-2252 for pickup, or Pastor Thomas at 812-986-2990 or Sarge at 448-2873 and leave a message.

We'll arrange for pickup.

We appreciate that you care to care.

Knightsville
