Family offers thanks to community

To the Editor:

The families of George Wm. And Marietta Slack would like to thank everyone who donated to Community Missionary Church and the Humane Shelter in honor of their loved ones.

Thank you for the prayers, cards, flowers, food and many kindnesses shown to us during this time.

A special thanks to the "Good Samaritan" who has been mowing and trimming the yard at their home.

Thanks to all family and friends for everything and may God bless you all.
