Letter to the Editor

All is forgiven

Sunday, July 7, 2013

To the Editor:

It's pretty hard to "forgive and forget," but that's what God says I must do to gain God's plan for my salvation.

Yes, someone took a floral arrangement from my father and mother's stone in Cottage Hill Cemetery.

As it was definitely sealed to the stone underneath by three very definite sealing devices, which when taken, left a part of the bottom of the bottom of the container.

Mom and pop's stone is at the very north end of the cemetery. And what was odd? The fact that there were other beautiful floral spreads on stones nearby.

The cost for my sister and I was $30, as one-half each.

So, we forgive you and I want to forget you and not remember you as a thief.

And if you ever see me, don't steal from me, but ask for money for flowers for your loved one.

May you repent and the Lord bless you before you depart this world.

"Honesty" is its own reward.

Sincerely,

Marion "Sarge" Eveland,

Knightsville

P.S. -- I would hope my sister forgives you also.
