Letter to the Editor

On TV Commercials

Sunday, July 28, 2013

To the Editor:

This letter is about TV commercials.

There are these medicine commercials telling the public about how great their medicine is and what it can do for you and then turn around and in the same commercial and tell you to consult your physician or it might or possibly could cause injury or death.

It's commercials like these that should be barred or banned from the airways; I don't care how much money they pay the FCC.

In Dec. 2011, the AP had an article in various newspapers that the FCC was going to get these loud mouth loud background soundtrack music commercials to tone them down a little by December 2012, it didn't happen, fact of the matter they're even louder.

That's another lie, probably somebody's paying them off.

On another subject you get these out-of-towners coming into this town and trying to take over, telling the people what they're going to do for this town, talking about changes charging outrageous prices for whatever they talk the people into, telling one lie after another and some people fall for it.

Another thing you don't know where they came from, wherever it is they won't tell you, because they act like they don't want nobody to know.

It's like they're hiding something about the down they came from.

You know the town with no name.

I got nothing against outsiders, but I just don't go for it when they act sneakyfied.
