This hero deserves recognition

To the Editor:

I personally know a hero who has spent his entire life in Clay City.

He has never been in service (Army, Marines, Air Force or Navy). He has spent his life as a quiet, hard working farmer. He sees his duty and performs it without question.

He has saved his sons from drowning. He has saved his father and mother from a house fire without thought for his own safety.

My point being, there are heroes, military or civilian.

This hero is Terry Tiefel. I honor this hero.
