Fundraiser at Forest Park a success

To the Editor:

On Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, we had our second fundraiser for the Forest Park Golf Course.

I want to take this opportunity to thank the golfing community for their participation and generous support of the second annual fundraiser for the Forest Park Golf Course.

All monies raised, either by donation or participation, will be used for the good of the course.

This golf course is in beautiful shape thanks to director Troy Farris and his staff and volunteers.

I also want to thank those who volunteered and worked so hard to make this project a successful outing: Troy Farris, Jennifer Farris, Darry Parr, Don Brown, Jerry Peebles, Bill Lovett, and all the hole sponsors for their wonderful help and support.

A good time was had by all.
