Public plea for return of missing dog

To the Editor:

I'm pleading for public help.

I would like to thank you for putting my lost dog ad in your paper (Male Shepherd-Airdale mix, red with black and brown wire hair -- kind of funny looking).

I am disabled and unable to go walking to look for him, so I'm asking the public for help.

He's the only friend I have and I miss him so much.

His name is Buddy and went toward Bowling Green Oct. 11, 2013, after slipping his collar and chain.

I miss his sad, brown eyes, big pointed ears and tail that sticks straight up.

Please help me find my friend and companion.

If anyone has seen him or has him, please call me at 812-986-2960 so I can bring him home.
