Proud of law enforcement

To the Editor:

On Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, I was witness to an incident that took place west of Brazil on United States 40.

During this incident, I was able to observe two of our Clay County Sheriff's Deputies in action.

I was pleased with the professional manner in which these two deputies performed their duty.

We as citizens of Clay County should be proud to know that we have well-trained and compassionate individuals protecting us each day.

I thanked them at the time, but I would like to publicly thank Deputy Josh Krause and Deputy Kade Baker for their outstanding work on that day.

We really do have a fine group of law enforcement personnel in Clay County.
