Organizers offer thanks

To the Editor:

The Clay Community Skatepark Committee thanks Sam's Hardware, 105 S. Forest Ave., Brazil, for graciously allowing us to place a donation canister at their cash register site.

The total donation to date is $45!

Sam's Hardware is being very helpful in raising funds for the skatepark and it is a great way to advertise the skatepark.

If you have not been by the skatepark, stop by and watch the skaters and bikers as they practice their skills.

The youth take pride in their park and keep it "neat and tidy."

There are youth using the skatepark on a daily basis, and we are very proud of them.

They have waited for many years to have a place where they are welcome and can exercise safely in a place designed expressly for their sport.

Thank you Sam's Hardware for supporting a good cause!
