Head Start grateful for gifts

To the Editor:

The Brazil Head Start would love to offer a huge thank you to the Clay County Extension Homemaker group for its generous donation of the beautiful hand-sewn Teddy Bears that will be given to the children for their Christmas celebration.

It was such a happy day to see the bears arrive and know that we will be able to spread the joy to so many deserving children.

During the holidays, many people are trying to make ends meet between utilities and housing.

This can make those Christmas extras difficult to purchase.

With groups like the Clay County Extension Homemakers donating their time, materials and energy, there are many more who will be thrilled with something like a cuddly Teddy Bear to cuddle up with.

Thank you for all you do to help us make a difference in our community.
