Local frustrated with trask pick up

Monday, December 30, 2013

To the Editor:

One month ago, I removed a chair from my home and put it at the end of my back yard to be picked up by the city for disposal, and have yet to be picked up after being scheduled for pick up. Additionally, I placed a discarded satellite dish on top of the chair for scrap metal.

Three weeks ago, a white gm truck stopped and a person got out and threw the satellite in the back and when I asked why they weren't taking the chair they looked at me and took off.

City employees using city owned vehicles to pick up scrap metal on city time is theft and utilizing city time for personal gain is theft. Now, I've received a stating that if the chair isn't removed within seven days I will be fined $100 per day.
