Donald "Don" R. Baysinger

Donald "Don" R. Baysinger, 78, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born February 4, 1936 in Cloverland, Indiana to Thomas R. Baysinger and Beulah Faye Barker Baysinger. Don graduated from Van Buren High School, obtained a Bachelors Degree from Appalachian Bible Institute, and served his country in the United States Navy. He taught at various Christian schools before settling into a job as Electronics Technician at Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center. Don attended Heritage Baptist Church in Coal City where he taught Sunday School for many years. He was an avid gun collector, loved antiquing, working with wood, playing music, and enjoyed animals. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, sons, Donald Baysinger, Jr., Jeffrey Baysinger, and siblings, John Baysinger, Beulah "Boots" Fagg, Tom Baysinger, Betty Baysinger, and Barbara Baysinger.
