Egg hunts, 5K get people moving this Easter weekend

There were many reasons to run this holiday courtesy of local events. Locals gathered at the Serving on the Streets center Saturday morning to participate in the Annual Easter 5K. Runners chased the Easter bunny through neighborhoods that the program often serves. All proceeds went to provide meals for children in the S.O.S. program. Children ages 6-8 sprint across the green grass at Forest Park in search of hidden Easter eggs Saturday morning. It was part of the 7th annual Community Easter Egg Hunt hosted by the First Chrisitan Church in Brazil.
