Looking at life through old, youthful eyes

Ah, this is such a beautiful and pleasant afternoon. I just arrived back to the little blue house at the end of the road. I took a short walk to where our garden spot was once located to check on the growth gain of my tomato plants. I gave them a nice drink of rainwater from the container close by. It is a chore to carry water from the faucet on the back of our house that far in a bucket. This is the first year I brought the rain barrel into service, although rainwater is free for the taking and saves me money. I do not water my animals with the take, but flowers and plants of other kinds thrive on the drinks. The plants toward the back of my house prefer a drink from my cool, wrinkly, green hose and the birds and nocturnal creatures of the wild prefer a few sips at the bird bathes. They are not picky.
