Cooking, yard sales and non-stop rain make up week for Sartors

A pot of hearty homemade vegetable beef soup is resting on the front burner of the stove. Two more of many loaves of zucchini bread that this year's harvest provided us and others are cooling on the racks. The space where the giant catalpa tree once stood is certainly right for growing the bushy plants that produce the cylindrical dark green summer squash.
