NMK shows appreciation to all supporters

To the editor:

Another season of the Northview Marching Knights is in the books and a great season it was.

We started off slow with many challenges in the props, the show design and the quality of performance but "give up" was never an option for anyone in the organization. The staff went to work solving the problems and helping the kids get better, and the kids trusted us and maintained a great work ethic.

Meanwhile, the support parents put in just as many hours as the students doing any and everything that was needed. The end result was one of the most satisfying and well received State Finals performances in the history of NMK.

Not to be forgotten within NMK making it to State Finals for the 30th time has to be the recognition of the help we receive from this great community. From our new, one-of-a-kind rehearsal tower to all the meals, events, snacks and donations. The support we receive is humbling. Keeping up with the other urban school Class B schools is a challenge and the Northview community never backs down.
