Community helps make State Finals memorable

To the editor:

On behalf of the Northview Volleyball team, we would like to thank the following people and businesses for helping make our trip to the State Finals a memorable one.

Dr. Kim Tucker, Dr. Tim Rayle, Mr. Ernie Simpson, Mrs. Debbie Zimmerman, Ms. Jan Gambill, Mr. Charley Jackson, all of the parents and fans who helped with everything that went into this memorable experience, the students who traveled great distances to support us, Carey Fox for the great coverage, WTHI and WTWO for the great coverage, Brazil Fire Department and Clay County Sheriff's Department for the escorts, and everyone else who made this season so special.

We would also like to thank the following businesses for allowing us to decorate their windows: Long John Silvers, Maurizios, Hoosier Homes, Lynn's Pharmacy, Riddell National Bank, Verizon, Fiesta, Pizza Hut and Coaches Timeout.

We cannot express how much all of the support meant to the team and the girls were very excited to see everything. We played a very good team and were proud of how we played and represented Northview High School, Clay Community Schools, our families, and Clay County.
