Lady Knights appreciate community support

To the editor:

Dear Community,

Thank you to the entire Brazil Community, and especially the local businesses and the sheriff's department for supporting our Northview Lady Knights Basketball team.

Winning Sectionals and the trip back into town afterwards was a wonderful experience that our entire team will never forget. We are so happy that we got to bring home the first Girls Basketball Sectional Title back to Brazil!

The girls and I enjoyed reading the good-luck wishes on our way out of town to Regionals as our caravan of family and friends followed us to Danville. I can't forget to mention our appreciation to The Brazil Times for the great coverage they have provided our team over the past years, including our three years at North Clay.

We, as Northview athletes, are fortunate to have terrific support from our school administrators, teachers, staff, band, cheerleaders and students. We are truly blessed to live in a community that supports our schools and extracurricular activities with such enthusiasm.

Our fans are the best fans in the Wabash Valley; and you have all helped make my four years as a Lady Knight some of the most cherished and memorable years of my life. I'll always be proud to be a Northview Knight!
