Pop cans can help feed the children

Sunday, July 12, 2015

My neighbors drop off a sack of empty pop cans about every other week and never stop for a "thank you;" all for the food for the "Haiti Children Project," whereby those pop cans become food for these children.

May each of you know that all cans collected as well as tabs go for a real down-to-earth project and not a penny comes out. For large bags, we put cans in for transportation as the pastor and driver go to exchange for that precious commodity. The tabs we personally haul to the McDonald House that anyone not having funds or needing additional funds for food at the McDonald House can stay there while their loved one is in the hospital nearby at Indianapolis.

Please drop off at our church, 21 W. Pinckley St., Brazil, or Bedwell Tire Shop on Main St. We'll see that it gets to our storage, or phone for pick up by leaving message at 812-605-0622, 812-446-2252 or 812-448-2873. Don't discard on Clay highways. Call us you'll feel better for it.
